Chardham Yatra

Tour Description:

The Chardham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Hinduism, encompassing a journey to four holy shrines in the majestic Himalayas of Uttarakhand. These shrines are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, each holding profound spiritual significance.

The pilgrimage begins at Yamunotri, the source of the River Yamuna, where devotees visit the temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and take a holy dip in the thermal springs. Next is Gangotri, the birthplace of the River Ganga, where pilgrims offer prayers to the Goddess Ganga, symbolizing purity and the removal of sins.

The third destination is Kedarnath, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated at an altitude of 3,583 meters, it is one of the holiest temples and part of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The final stop is Badrinath, the temple of Lord Vishnu, located between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges.
